outside my window.......... there is still some mud from all the rain, but the leaves are freshly raked.
i am thinking...... about organizing my daughters' room/closet today.
i am thankful for............ so many things, but right this moment
i am thankful for sunshine and clear, blue skies.
in our schoolroom........... the Thanksgiving to Christmas transition is taking place.
from the kitchen.............. not much is happening right now, i am worn out from thanksgiving, but i do have plans to make turkey and vegetable soup with homemade tortillas today.
i am wearing..........green and pink polka dot pjs with a white t-shirt, green sweater and my UGG boots.
i am creating.............. the finishing touches on the ornaments.
i am going................... to stay home today and get some things done.
i am reading............. How to Converse Familiarly and Continually with God by St. Alphonsus Liguori
i am hoping................ to start exercising again this week and get rid of one of my high-blood pressure medications-these are my intentions behind my ST. ANDREW NOVENA.
i am hearing................nothing right now as my husband took the middle kids to their Learning Center classes this morning and oldest son and youngest son went with him because they had some things to pick up at Home Depot.
around the house.................... there is dusting to do before any more Christmas decorations are put up, the couch needs to be vacuumed and the floors swept.
one of my favorite things.................. is a small olive green oriental silk-flowered bag from Bath & Body Works filled with mini Eucalyptus-Spearmint body lotion, body wash and pillow mist (a black friday splurge).
a few plans for the rest of the week................... a meeting with my facilitator to turn some work in, some more decorating for Christmas, get a hair cut, do some sewing instead of so much blogging for my free time, making time to take some late afternoon walks with the kids (i miss that).
here is a picture thought i am sharing:
